You don’t need to go out and buy new products to reduce waste at home — you can make them yourself from reclaimed materials! There are so many ways to help keep common disposables out of your daily self-care routine. In this workshop, we’ll go over best practices to reduce the amount of waste in your toiletries and cosmetics, including some tips for making your own beauty + hygiene products. Then, we’ll make a few items that you can put to use right away. Replace disposable facial scrubs/makeup removers with a set of reusable cotton rounds, stitch up your own soap saver bag to use your bar soap to the very last bit, and make an adorable bathroom organizer jar from an old food container + found hardware! You’ll have time to craft all of these projects in the informative and fun workshop!
