Event Overview

Do you have a hard time recycling beautiful glass bottles? Theresa, community artist, will teach you how to reuse those beauties using three techniques that can be replicated in any home workspace. During this workshop, participants will learn how to create custom glass block and how to use cement mortar to fill a window. Theresa will demo an easy and eco-friendly way to remove adhesive residue. The class will also learn how to use a glass cutter jig in combination with a hot/cold water bath to safely cut glass bottles to create a self-watering planter. Participants will get hands-on experience learning these techniques and will go home with some beautiful glass creations.
