Event Overview

Learn how to create your own handmade laundry soap using your old coconut cooking oils!  Discover the necessary safety measures and protective gear needed to handle lye solution for soapmaking. The instructor will show you how to make a DIY soap mold from used milk cartons or box soup containers. Watch the stages of soap making demonstrated, as oils are measured, mixed with lye solution and poured into the mold. Leave with a sample of soap for you to try yourself before making your own!

This is an in-person class that will take place at Perennial. You will be assigned your own socially distanced work station, and will be required to wear a mask while you are here. Our full policies can be found here.
