Gather up old sheets, clothes or scrap fabric pieces and transform these rags into a beautiful rug! The class will cover the basics of making a crocheted rag rug out of recycled fabrics. This workshop will cover from start to finish how to construct a circular rag rug, from cutting the fabric to simple crochet techniques, including the chain stitch and single crochet stitch. Participants will get started on a small circular rug which they can take home and finish crafting at their leisure! Fabric and crochet hooks will be provided, but feel free to bring in your own fabrics to work with!
If ya want to color coordinate your rug with your home decor, bring in cotton bed sheets or t-shirts
