Event Overview

Please note this two-day class meets on Tuesday, August 11 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and on Tuesday, August 18 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

Add a personal touch to a photograph, print, or piece of art with a custom picture frame. In this two-day workshop, participants will be introduced to basic frame-making skills. Kyle Wilson of Antwique Shop will lead you through building a 5 inches x 7 inches frame from salvaged wood. You’ll learn the proper use of hand tools to create frame stock material and practice making cuts using a jig. This course can help improve your spatial planning, so come with an open mind and a willingness to learn a new skill!

With any woodworking project, it takes time to become proficient, but this is a great project to help you dive into multiple planning and building skills!
