Event Overview

Discover the art of turning wood into funky jewelry! Instead of tossing small scraps of hardwood into the trash bin, upcycle the wood into a new statement jewelry piece. Artist Gina Alvarez will lead the class in transforming what would have been scrap into something beautiful and wearable.

Participants will have hands-on practice sawing, sanding, and shaping scrap wood to create a custom ring. The class will cover hand saws, a belt sander, hand sanding, and utilizing hand drills. This unique ring will look great on you or will make a perfect gift for a fashionable friend!
