Every home needs a wooden step stool to help get to those out-of-reach places. Utilizing basic hand and power tools, the class will execute a simple stool design. Jenny, artist + woodworker, will introduce the class to basic woodworking tools that can be applied to multiple woodworking projects including; pull saws, miter saws and boxes, power drills, and hammer and nails. Participants will also use shaping tools such as files, chisels, and planes to create a step stool from reclaimed wood. After this class, you’ll be able to give yourself that extra lift!
